The Role

Are you passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care to older adults? University Hospital Wishaw is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic healthcare professionals to join our new dynamic Frailty Unit.

Our Frailty Unit provides specialist multidisciplinary care for older people living with frailty, focusing on early assessment, rehabilitation, and safe discharge planning whilst applying home first principles. We are proud to offer a supportive and innovative environment where staff are empowered to make a real difference in patients’ lives. You will work within a collaborative team, benefit from ongoing professional development, and contribute to service improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.

As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will carry out care duties for patients, in support of a registered nurse, and will regularly work unsupervised. You will carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the ward environment.

Full and part time hours will be considered.

* Working knowledge of basic information technology
