About the role
We're recruiting an Operational Excellence & Process Technology Lead to support our manufacturing operation in Telford. This is a key site-based role focused on operational excellence, process reliability and technical capability development.
You will act as the subject matter expert for the Mller Production System (MPS) within the unit, coaching teams at all levels and driving sustainable improvements in efficiency, quality, cost and performance. This is not a people-management role,instead, you'll influence, coach and develop capability across the unit.
What you'll be responsible for
1. Acting as the MPS and Operational Excellence expert within the unit
2. Coaching unit managers, team leaders and operators in effective use of MPS and OpEx tools
3. Driving the implementation of the Mller Production System at unit level
4. Developing and maintaining an OpEx improvement roadmap
5. Supporting the unit through OpEx maturity assessments
6. Improving performance against OEE, waste, material losses and productivity
