Responsibilities
The Dispensing Optician is responsible for delivering outstanding patient care through professional, courteous service and accurate dispensing. They ensure all administrative, financial, and clinical tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulations. The role includes supporting and training team members, assisting with patient consultations, selecting and fitting eyewear, managing spectacle orders, and performing minor repairs. They maintain high professional standards, uphold the company’s image, and stay up to date with clinical knowledge and professional development.
Must be comfortable in confidently presenting and dispensing high‑end, designer, and bespoke frames.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous spectacle dispensing experience is essential
* Level 6 Diploma in Ophthalmic dispensing qualification
