Teaching Assistant – KS1 (EAL Support)

Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Blackpool to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support KS1 pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children’s education and language development.
Role Overview:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with EAL needs.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and adapting resources.
* Help pupils develop confidence and communication skills in English.
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Requirements:
* Previous experience supporting children in a school setting (KS1 preferred).
* Knowledge of EAL strategies and a passion for language development.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
* A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
