We're recruiting for a Pig Stockperson for an outdoor farm in Norfolk, PE31.
The family-run business has been established for over 30 years. They have an outdoor breeding unit that supplies 9-kilo piglets. Piglets are weaned at 5 weeks. All gilt replacements are produced in-house. The pigs are kept on grass and are fed in long troughs via Bachman auger feeders. The two units are Red Tractor and Freedom Food monitored.

* Farrowing paddock management
* Feeding dry sows
* Timely serving of sows using AI
* Record keeping
* Strawing up pigs
* Weaner gilt management

* Trailer and loader work
Person specifications
* Must have pig experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Enthusiasm to be a team player
* A passion to generate high levels of performance and welfare
* Good standards of tidiness and personal organisation
Salary: £28,500 - £30,500 DOE
Plus:
* Government pension

* 29 days holiday
Hours:
40 hours Monday - Friday plus 8 hours every other weekend.
