Community Safety Co-ordinator (12-month FTC) Location: Wooburn Green, High Wycombe / Hybrid (2 days per week in the office, 3 days per week working from home). About the role Were looking for a compassionate, organised and resident-focused Community Safety Co-ordinator to join our Community Safety Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Youll play a vital role in supporting residents who report anti-social behaviour (ASB), helping them feel listened to, reassured and informed. Youll assess the risk of new ASB reports, agree action plans with residents, manage a caseload of low-risk cases and work closely with Community Safety Officers on visits and follow-up actions. This is a role for someone who genuinely cares about people, communicates with empathy and clarity, and wants to help create safer, stronger communities. Youll be the first point of contact for residents, managing the ASB inbox and phone line, gathering information, requesting evidence and supporting residents through what can often be sensitive or stressful situations. Youll work collaboratively with colleagues across SettleParadigm, as well as local authorities and partner agencies, to ensure every resident receives a high-quality, timely and supportive service. Key responsibilities Provide a responsive, resident-focused support service to the Community Safety Team Be the first point of contact for residents reporting ASB via phone, email, app or online Manage the ASB inbox and handle inbound/outbound calls with empathy and professionalism Carry out risk assessments, agree initial action plans and allocate cases appropriately Manage a caseload of low-risk ASB cases Attend joint visits with Community Safety Officers Respond to resident and stakeholder correspondence in line with Customer Care Standards Capture information accurately and request relevant evidence Provide feedback on themes and trends to support service improvement Carry out routine administrative duties to support the wider team Build positive relationships with residents, colleagues and partner organisations What were looking for Must haves Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate sensitively and confidently with residents and stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify clear actions and outcomes Ability to take personal responsibility for assessing situations and making decisions Ability to manage competing priorities and organise your own workload Ability to analyse and interpret information clearly Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Outlook) A proactive, creative approach to problem-solving and service improvement A positive influence on colleagues, residents and partners Nice to haves Experience working in an ASB environment or similar customer-facing role in a regulated setting Experience investigating ASB reports or supporting vulnerable residents Lived experience of social housing For added brilliance A natural ability to build trust and rapport with residents Calmness and resilience when supporting people in difficult situations A genuine passion for helping people feel safe in their homes and communities Benefits Annual salary: £31,473 Excellent Benefits 25 days holiday, increasing with service, plus Christmas closure and buy options Generous pension scheme up to 9.5% employer contribution Enhanced family-friendly leave Health cash plan claim up to £1,800 for everyday health costs Life cover and income protection Hybrid working, modern offices, free parking and EV charging 30 qualified Mental Health First Aiders Car leasing via salary sacrifice (permanent colleagues) Funded training, qualifications and apprenticeships 3 paid volunteering days Peer-recognition rewards platform Paid professional subscription (one per year) Working hours 37 hours per week (Monday - Thursday 09:00 - 17:30, Friday 09:00 - 17:00).
