Mission description
We are looking for a Local Consolidation Specialist to join our finance team to support the consolidation of critical financial tasks within the Western Europe region. The position is based in our headquarters in Hammersmith, London and reports to the Finance Manager.
As the Local Consolidation Specialist, supported by the Team leader Consolidation, you will produce the local financial statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines. You will also produce the local consolidation packages for all countries within the region
Job description
- Responsible for the preparation and production of consolidation packages by legal entities for the region
- Responsible for the production of local annual financial statements
- Manage and execute local reporting activities that are related to financial statements and other regional reporting
- Provide support to local general ledger accountants on IFRS topics and other accounting standards
- Liaise with countries’ local external auditors and provide full support for audit review of consolidated financial statements
Main Responsibilities:
- Produce consolidation packages
- Ensure correct application of IFRS standards for local consolidated accounts
- Responsible for IFRS 16 lease accounting, including the maintenance and oversight of the
tool used to calculate related adjustments
- Assist general ledger accountants for the application of new IFRS standards and other consolidation retreatment
- Produce the annual local financial statements
- Liaise with countries’ local external auditors and provide full support for audit review of consolidation packages and local financial statements
- Ensure the accuracy of the financial data across all our databases
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field
* 2-3 years of experience in the creation of local financial statements
* Strong knowledge of accounting techniques (especially related to IFRS standards), practices and accounting tools preferably Oracle Cloud
* Fluent written and verbal English and Local language skills
