Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a Mobile Service Engineer to join our dedicated Service Division. This field-based role will predominantly cover the south of England.
Role Overview :
As a Mobile Service Engineer, you’ll work independently, travelling to customer sites to service, maintain, and repair specialist Impact Protection Vehicles (IPVs), trailers, and bespoke traffic management equipment.
You’ll play a vital role in upholding our reputation for high-quality service and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
* Diagnose and repair faults in vehicle-mounted traffic management equipment and trailers
* Conduct routine maintenance and field modifications
* Complete service documentation accurately and promptly
* Maintain your service van, tools, and supplies
* Build strong relationships with customers through professional communication
* Stay informed on industry updates and innovations
* Identify potential opportunities for additional services or equipment
* Provide estimates and repair advice to customers when needed
* Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies
What We’re Looking For :
* Hands-on experience with 12 / 24v electrical systems and basic hydraulic systems
* Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical drawings
* Previous experience maintaining or repairing HGVs
* Traffic management equipment experience is an advantage but not essential
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* A proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude
* Desire to learn and grow within the role
* Full UK driving licence
