This is not a traditional clinic-based SLT role. Instead, this school environment offers the opportunity to deliver meaningful, functional support where it matters most, helping students with social communication, emotional regulation, and day-to-day engagement in education. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team including other SLTs, Occupational Therapists, a drama therapist, and a dyslexia teacher, you will contribute to a holistic model of care focused on real-life outcomes. This role is especially well suited to a paediatric Speech & Language Therapist, autism-focused SLT, or school-based Speech Therapist who values child-led practice, collaboration, and modern therapeutic approaches. This setting does not follow ABA, PBS, or behaviourist-only models, and will appeal to therapists who want to work in a more affirming, relationship-led way.
