Title: HR Generalist - France and UK
Location: Chertsey (Office based)
Fixed-term contract with the potential to be extended or converted to a permanent role.
Are you fluent in French and passionate about HR? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to act as the primary HR contact for our France office, while also supporting UK and global HR initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, learning, and employee engagement.
Role split:
France Focus
* Serve as the main HR point of contact for our France office.
* Lead recruitment for France, partnering with local managers to attract and retain top talent.
* Handle complex Employee Relations (ER) cases in compliance with French labor law.
UK & Global Projects
* Support HR projects and policy updates for the UK office.
* Contribute to global HR initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
* Drive HR best practices and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Support
* Lead recruitment for France, partnering with local managers to attract and retain top talent.
Onboarding & Offboarding
* Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation
* New hire inductions and onboarding programs in partnership with the HR Coordinator
* Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding procedures
Compliance, Audits & Policy Management
* Oversee HR compliance audits, ensuring documentation and processes comply with legal standards and company policies
* Assist in the review, development, and implementation of HR policies and procedures to maintain up-to-date and effective governance
Learning Management System (LMS) Support
* Assist in the development and deployment of learning content and training programs
Employee Relations & Engagement
* Provide first-line HR support to employees and managers on routine and complex HR matters
* Assist in managing performance management processes and employee relations cases
* Support employee engagement, wellness, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives
Project Work & Collaboration
* Undertake specific projects as directed by the Head of HR
What We’re Looking For:
* Fluent in French (essential) and strong English communication skills.
* Solid understanding of French labor law and HR practices.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
