Salary: £130–£251+ per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking a committed SEND Secondary Teacher to join schools across Nottinghamshire.
As a SEND Secondary Teacher, you will deliver lessons across Key Stages, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of learners. You will provide individualised support, foster positive learning experiences, and help students achieve both academic and personal success.
SEND Secondary Teacher Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to students with SEND needs.
* Support pupils in accessing the curriculum according to their learning abilities.
* Create inclusive learning environments that promote progress and well-being.
* Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals.
* Monitor, assess, and record student progress, adapting strategies where required.
* Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.
Requirements for SEND Secondary Teacher:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching students with SEND in a secondary school setting.
* Strong knowledge of adapting lessons for different needs and abilities.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
