As part of a continued investment in the pre-construction, they are seeking a driven M&E Bid Manager to join their high-performing London team. The Opportunity Reporting directly to Pre-Construction Manager, this role offers the chance to play a hands-on part in crafting compelling, high-quality bid submissions. The position sits within a growing team comprising another Bid Manager and trainees, will see you work closely with a large estimating function and collaborate across departments including design, operations, and commercial (QS) teams. You will support end-to-end tenders, with a strong emphasis on the qualitative side-particularly around sustainability and narrative development. This is not a standalone leadership bid role; rather, the ideal candidate will bring 3 years' experience owning and driving the written and qualitative aspects of M&E or construction bids within a collaborative, team-driven structure. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the qualitative submission process, working closely with design, operations, and commercial teams to gather and integrate content. Shape bid strategy, coordinate inputs, and manage tender documentation in line with client requirements. Write and review high-quality, engaging content with a focus on added value, sustainability, and win themes. Support the bid through to PCSA stage, working with internal teams to align delivery plans with bid proposals. Collaborate daily with the estimating team who own the cost elements of each submission. Coordinate multiple stakeholder inputs and ensure timely completion of all bid components. Help to continuously improve bid templates, libraries, and presentation quality.✅ What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E or construction bidding (qualitative focus essential). Ideally from an M&E subcontractor or Tier 1/main contractor background. Strong understanding of technical bid content, delivery methodology, and stakeholder engagement. Confident communicator with strong writing, coordination, and deadline management skills. Experience working closely with estimating, design, and commercial teams. What's in it for You?
