As a result, you’ll have the autonomy to work independently while building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality accounting services. The Role As a Part Qualified Accountant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of accounting services. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, autonomy, and client interaction. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage your own workload and client portfolio, working closely with clients to support their accounting needs. Key Responsibilities Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients, with a strong focus on sole traders Managing your own portfolio of clients and associated deadlines Supporting clients with day-to-day accounting queries and providing a high standard of service Working with cloud-based accounting software (Xero and QuickBooks) Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships About You Part qualified (AAT / ACCA / ACA or equivalent) Up to 4 years’ experience within an accountancy practice Strong experience preparing accounts Confident working independently and managing your own workload Experience using cloud accounting systems Excellent communication and client-facing skills Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented What’s on Offer Part Qualified Accountant role within a well-established local practice Permanent, full-time position Salary of £27,000 plus benefits Friendly, supportive, and professional working environment Opportunity to take ownership of your work and client relationships Long-term career stability within a respected business If you’re a motivated part qualified accountant looking to take the next step, then this is an opportunity to join a supportive practice where your contribution truly matters.
