Volunteer Communications and Marketing Volunteer | Burning Nights CRPS Support
We are seeking 2 communications and marketing volunteers to help engage our supporters by creating compelling content to support more people affected by Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).

What are we looking for?
* Strong writing and editing skills
* Ability to write for different mediums and formats (print vs web)
* Experience in copywriting, marketing, public relations, communications or journalism
* Ability to write with the charity’s brand in mind using our existing voice and style
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to quickly understand the needs of our team/organisation/users
* Understanding of the resource constraints of a small charity and ability to work within them
* Skills in marketing and communications, copywriting/journalism, or related background in blog/content writing
* Engaging storyteller with a proactive, collaborative, and hands-on attitude
* Keen to contribute to something that positively impacts society, especially in times of crisis
What will you be doing?
* Plan, update and deliver content for our website, digital and print materials
* Write compelling and persuasive copy for use on our website, leaflets, fact sheets, fundraising materials, and member magazines
* Develop case studies and storytelling to communicate impact for website, marketing materials, and annual reports
* Create engaging web copy that adheres to our brand
* Review existing communications materials and provide edits for consistency, tone, spelling and grammar
* Assist with press releases and content for different channels
* Contribute to brochure/annual review writing to highlight impact for current and potential stakeholders
* Collaborate with a small comms team and follow the content strategy, brand guidelines, and tone
As a small charity and team, you will work with a team of volunteers under a team leader who will provide an overview of existing materials, content strategy, brand, and past approaches.
