One of our clients is hiring a Modern Device Management Engineer to drive device strategy, endpoint security, and workplace technology roadmap delivery across a global organisation.
This role focuses on enhancing end-user experience, strengthening compliance and security posture, and ensuring the organisation remains current with emerging device management technologies.

About the Role
You will play a key role within the Workplace Technology team, contributing to the delivery of the device and endpoint management roadmap.
This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Senior Engineers, Team Leads, and Technology Managers to ensure alignment on processes, objectives, and roadmap execution.
You will support hardware profiling, device compliance, operating system management, security configurations, and the introduction of new workplace technologies — maintaining a sharp focus on security, scalability, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Roadmap & Delivery
Contribute to the Workplace Technology roadmap and delivery objectives
Support introduction of new device technologies and solutions
Align device strategy with corporate policies and compliance standards
Endpoint & Device Management
Manage software, OS, and patch deployments
Support device compliance, configurations, and security policies
Work on hardware profiling and build testing
Collaboration & Process Improvement
Partner with engineering and technology stakeholders across teams
Identify process weaknesses and implement improvements
Support real-time response to security incidents (e.g., malware, vulnerabilities)
Automation & Innovation
Leverage scripting and automation to improve device lifecycle management
Explore AI and agentic AI solutions to enhance end-user experience
Ideal Qualifications
Experience with core identity systems (Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta)
Strong knowledge of macOS (preferred), Windows, and ChromeOS
Experience managing technical projects and enterprise device deployments
Experience managing OS, software, and patch distribution
Endpoint Management Platforms:
Jamf
Microsoft Intune
Google Device Management
Infrastructure & Security Knowledge:
Understanding of PKI and core infrastructure components
Experience responding to security threats and vulnerabilities
Scripting & Automation:
