HR Business Partner

Hybrid working- 3 days in the city based office
I am partnering with a Global Law firm to find a brilliant HR Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis, due to a promotion internally. This HR Business Partner will provide strategic and operational HR business partnering support for the practice group of about 200 people, and within that approximately 30 Partners.
The exposure will be broad, you will be partnering with your HR colleagues, and also with Partners and associates to act as a trusted advisor to them. You will be supported by an HR Advisory team alongside the wider HR team.
Your role will encompass the following areas:

-You will support the Senior HRBP in delivering a comprehensive people strategy for your global client group
-Collaborate with HR colleagues on developing and delivering on various local and global HR projects and initiatives.
-Work with the business to implement business improvement
-Support designated client group partners and leaders with talent management and succession planning activity.
-Work with the partners and line managers to support communication, initiatives and processes to improve employee engagement relating to employee feedback.
-Provide advice and coaching to partners and line managers to increase performance management capability.
-Manage the cyclical performance management and reward processes
-Support line managers in dealing with complex and contentious performance, grievance and disciplinary issues
Key requirements
• Experience in a generalist HR role, operating strategically and operationally
• Experience of working in a professional services firm, ideally a law firm
• Experience of working in environments with lots of change
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire confidence
• Be able to build strong working relationships at all levels
• Be resilient and able to remain calm and positive under pressure
• Be decisive and mature in judgement and able to resolve complex problems
This role would be great for someone who has worked in a business of scale and scope- if you have had global reach and understand a matrix environment- this would be a real advantage.
