Full Time, 36 hours per week
Band 6 Salary Range £43,231 - £52,679 per annum + 1 On‑Call
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum pro rata
Relocation Assistance of up to £8,000 available
Responsibilities
* Rotate through CT and general x‑ray, including mobile units and theatre duties.
* Provide imaging services to a 22,000‑resident island community and offshore oil industry.
* Work as part of a 15‑member imaging team, collaborating closely with clinicians and remote Radiology support.
* Use a 128 slice GE Revolution Evo CT scanner, Philips 1.5T MRI scanner, and ultrasound rooms.
Qualifications
* HCPC registered CT (Rotational) Radiographer.
* Minimum of 1 year experience as a fully qualified radiographer in a UK NHS hospital with evidence of rotating through CT.
* Demonstrated understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by a remote island location.
* Must be eligible to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to formal offer.
