THE EMPLOYER IS: LISBURN CRICKET CLUB The Bar Staff will support the day-to-day running of Lisburn Cricket Club’s bar based in Wallace Park. The role provides practical experience in hospitality, customer service, and food and beverage operations within a vibrant community sports environment. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for members, visitors, and community groups.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks in line with club standards.
* Assist with setting up and closing the bar area, ensuring it remains clean, tidy, and well-presented.
* Support stock management through restocking, checking deliveries, and rotating products.
* Operate tills and process payments securely and accurately.
* Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene requirements, including food safety regulations.
* Assist with service at matches, events, and community functions.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* Knowledge of hospitality or customer service.
* The ability to work evenings and weekends.
* Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and payment processing.
* Ability to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards.
Desirable Skills
* Previous experience in a café, bar, or hospitality setting (paid or voluntary).
* Basic knowledge of food hygiene or bar operations.
* Experience working in a team environment.
* Access to transport for evening and weekend shifts.

The Employer is: LISBURN CRICKET CLUB JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information. Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
