Base pay range
This range is provided by Northamptonshire Children's Trust. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities
* Provide oversight for all the children in care in Northamptonshire, including children subject to legal proceedings or with a plan to remain long term in our care.
* Build meaningful relationships with young people, their families and their carers to plan effectively for the future of every child.
* Work within 11 teams across the county focusing on particular cohorts of children.
* Be experienced at court work and confident to attend court on your own if necessary.
About you
* Experienced, qualified, registered social worker who has completed ASYE and is committed to delivering best practice and supporting children, young people and families.
* Effective communicator able to build positive, strength-based relationships with a diverse range of children, young people and families.
* Skilled in analysis and decision making to deliver purposeful and effective social care with support from experienced colleagues and managers.
* This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is a regulated activity and will be subject to a Barred List check.
* Committed to continuous improvement, building a skilled, knowledgeable, and flexible workforce and promoting innovation while keeping children, young people and families at the heart of all we do.
