Brief Role Description:
This role will lead all day-to-day HR operations for Osteotec across the UK, Ireland, Denmark and Sweden. Key responsibilities include managing employee relations cases, ensuring legal and policy compliance, overseeing benefits administration, and maintaining the HRIS. The role will also partner closely with the Group HR Director to shape and execute HR strategies. Strong expertise in UK employment law is essential, along with a willingness to develop knowledge of employment legislation across Europe.

Hours per Week: Full Time
Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 DOE
Location: Newbury with travel across UK, Republic of Ireland, Sweden and Denmark. Hybrid working is considered, with the option to work from home up to two days per week.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee all day-to-day HR operations for Osteotec across the UK, Ireland, Sweden and Denmark (external HR consultancies are provided for all non-UK entities)
· Serve as first point of contact for HR matters, providing guidance and support to managers and employees
· Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies, whilst developing knowledge of Irish, Swedish, Danish and broader European employment laws.
· Administer employee benefits programs and support annual renewals and vendor co-ordination
· Maintain and update the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
· Support recruitment processes where required, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
· Partner with the Group HR Director to design, implement, and execute HR strategies and initiatives.
· Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance, conduct, and employee development.
· Support payroll processes with accurate and timely HR data and approvals.
· Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture across all regions.
· Coordinate and process DBS checks for new starters and existing employees as required, ensuring timely completion and full compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards.
· Support Office Management with a range of daily administrative and office coordination duties, when extra support is required.
Essential:
· Significant experience in a generalist HR role, ideally supporting multiple regions or business units
· CIPD Level 5 qualified, or equivalent advanced HR accreditation
· Strong knowledge of UK employment law, with proven experience handling employee relations cases.
· Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day HR operations independently and proactively.
· Experience administering HR policies, benefits, and HRIS systems.
· High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
· Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders, including contributing to HR strategy.
Desirable:
· Experience using HiBob is a significant advantage
· Previous experience with either Ireland, Sweden or Benelux region
· Previous experience supporting payroll processing or audits.
· Previous experience in medical industry
