We are now looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to step into a Junior Sous Chef role and play a crucial part in successfully launching our brand in this new neighbourhood. Reporting to the Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for all things pizza, day-to-day production, quality checks and making sure every slice hits the spot.
The Hox in Edinburgh will boast 214 bedrooms influenced by the Georgian heritage of the building and city (including the introduction of a new room category for the Hox), a main restaurant and big lobby & bar, a large event space and The Apartment - our unique meetings and events concept.

Support the Head Chef in leading a large, dynamic kitchen team.

~Previous experience as a Pizza Chef in a busy, bustling environment with freshness and provenance of ingredients as a key priority.
~Passion for food is a given, knowing what’s hot, what’s not and who’s who.
~You’ve got solid experience in pizza production - from perfecting dough preparation to finishing pizzas in a gas oven, all while keeping quality front and centre.
~Proven track record managing large kitchen teams.
~A true passion for creativity whilst maintaining the integrity of our brand standards through the dishes on the menu.
