We have an exciting new opportunity for a Permanent Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon to join a state-of-the-art referral practice in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet who is looking to move into a solely orthopaedic role andbe able to work alongside experienced orthopaedic surgeons and develop within an area that they love.
The right candidate will have a good level of small animal experience and be confident in routine clinical examinations and surgeries along with sole charge. They also require that the Vet is competent in diagnostic imaging and orthopaedic surgeries. In particular they are looking for a Vet who has experience in fracture management, joint surgery, arthrodesis and arthroscopy. Previous experience in spinal surgery would be advantageous but not essential.
As well as the day to day managing of cases and working alongside the team the Vet will also be encouraged to deliver CPD at annual meetings in order to collaborate with the development of new protocols and clinical research.

They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. It is an established referral hospital and boasts spacious consulting rooms, two wards along with a CT scanner onsite and three large operating theatres.

Package:
45. Salary: Up to £80, per annum, commensurate to experience
