About the role:
Here at Teaching Personnel we are seeking a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Walsall. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality lessons that foster confidence, collaboration and a love for the performing arts.
Role Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Prepare students for GCSE assessments and support their academic progress.
* Encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-expression through practical performance work.
* Monitor, assess, and provide constructive feedback to support student development.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all learners feel valued.
Role Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Drama.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver exciting, varied lessons.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A genuine enthusiasm for theatre, performance, and the creative arts.
* Commitment to supporting the wider life of the school community.
