We are looking for an experienced groundsperson to join our team, who has strong technical experience in delivering excellent sporting grounds. What you will be doing:
Maintain high‑quality rugby playing surfaces by delivering weekly, monthly and seasonal care and maintenance programmes.
Coordinate pitch usage, training schedules and facility allocations to support smooth daily operations.
Plan and oversee workloads within the grounds team, ensuring resources, budgets and equipment are used efficiently.
Promote a safe working environment by applying Health & Safety standards, managing chemicals properly and carrying out risk assessments.
What we’re looking for:
A Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (such as NVQ, SVQ or GMA Technical Diploma) and at least five years of related experience.
PA1 and PA6 certification for safe use of handheld applicators.
Experience supervising or mentoring team members, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
A solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements, plus a valid driving licence.
