At ignis we don’t do average. We believe in being discipline and media neutral to ensure we create exciting sparks of salient engagement with an Upstart, counter conventional creative approach. Which is why we wish to recruit an exceptionally strategic senior account manager to help us help Clients like Marriott and Britvic to deliver upstart solutions to marketing challenges via experiential, digital and shopper brand engagement and, even, corporate comms around DE&I.
The role of a Senior Account Manager is to support the Account Director and the Senior Account Director. You are key to managing the client’s business, helping to build and develop the relationship at the brand and marketing manager level of the client’s teams and ensuring that we are able to produce the best possible work on time and on budget. You will be responsible for identifying and evaluating strategic insight which will enable us to continue develop strong ( and even award winning!) creative solutions across all media.
It is your job to ensure that the account runs smoothly, that all correspondence is documented and reported (contact reports, status reports) and these are accurate and timely. It is your job to know what work is going through the agency and that is managed effectively and smoothly. It is also part of your role to anticipate what your line manager needs, what your clients need from him/her, and to be prepared at all times.
You are also responsible for managing Account Executives and Trainees, to make sure you mentor them, that they understand how to manage our clients and to build long-term relationships, how to work within the agency, with creatives, studio, and finance alike, and are producing and delivering their best work for the client.
We expect you to manage the commercial relationship with existing and prospective clients, and to proactively contact clients to maintain a consistent high level of service delivery, whilst identifying further new business opportunities.
We are particularly interested in candidates with highly creative and award-winning experiential and/or digital experience. Over the past several years we have won a raft of awards in these areas, to the delight of our Clients, so want to ensure we keep on winning!
