Lead Hand / Ganger Groundworker in Oxford
JN Bentley is looking for an enthusiastic and positive Lead Hand / Ganger to lead a groundworks gang who live in the Oxford area and to work on our sites across the region. You will report to Site Management and lead a gang on various construction sites predominantly within the water industry. You will have a proactive attitude towards work and health and safety, with ideally experience working within the water industry and general civil work, concreting, deep drainage and pipe laying.
Responsibilities
* Experience managing a gang working on civils projects.
* A positive attitude towards work, along with the ability to maintain high standards of health and safety, with experience of a reporting culture.
* Current CSCS, CPCS / NOCN or NPORS with NVQ and Plant Tickets.
* Site Supervisor or Site Management training.
* Full UK Driving Licence essential.
