Description of Role
As an Apprentice Tactical Buyer, you will become a valued member of our UK centralised procurement team. Working closely with colleagues across functions, you will learn tactical buying, negotiation, supplier relationship management, purchase order management, contract administration, risk awareness and ethical procurement. The role offers practical experience and a strong foundation to build a future career in procurement.
Apprenticeship Programme
You will enrol onto the Modern Apprenticeship in Procurement at City of Glasgow College. Delivered over 2 years, the first year is workplace training and the second year includes on‑campus delivery of CIPS modules. Upon completion you will achieve a CIPS Level 2 qualification, with support to progress to CIPS Level 4 Procurement Diploma.
Requirements
* 2 Highers (or equivalent) at grade C or above
* 5 National 5s (A‑C) including English and Maths
* Resident in Scotland on or before 1 August 2026 and for the duration of the programme
