Location: Tees Valley & Darlington Area
Salary: Up to £29,172 per annum (FTE)
Contract Type: Term Time Only 3 Days per Week

About The Role
We are seeking a Level 6 qualified Careers Adviser to work on-site in schools and colleges across the Tees Valley and Darlington area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact, working closely with students, staff, and parents to deliver tailored, high-quality careers advice and guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver 1:1 and group careers guidance sessions.
Support Careers Leaders in achieving the Gatsby Benchmarks.
Maintain and update CEIAG Google Classrooms with current Labour Market Information (LMI).
Organise employer talks and careers-related events.
Work with students from all backgrounds, including those with SEND or from disadvantaged groups.
Promote equal opportunities, safeguarding, and inclusivity throughout your practice.

What Youll Need
Level 6 Careers Guidance qualification (CIAG) essential.
Experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting.
Strong knowledge of training, employment, and education pathways.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience supporting vulnerable learners and those with SEND.
A clear commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding.
