The Capital, Estates and Facilities Directorate are seeking to recruit a specialist Mechanical Craftsperson qualified to work on pressure systems, with experience of working in a healthcare engineering environment.
You will work within the Environmental Services team.
As well as their core specialist skill a Mechanical Craftsperson will perform complex and non‑routine work, including:
* Installing, maintaining, servicing and repairing a full range of estates services equipment.
* Providing technical advice to other estates maintenance staff and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
* Undertaking condition surveys and evaluating inspection reports.
* Calibrating, fault‑finding and repairing a wide range of engineering plant and equipment such as standby generators, heating systems, boiler houses, hospital incinerators and all other associated hospital plant.
