We’re recruiting for a hands-on leadership role within a busy and growing operation, overseeing the maintenance and performance of mobile plant and recycling equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of site-based work, team leadership and operational planning in a fast-paced environment. The Role:
1. c£50,000 per annum
2. Full time

Key Duties:
8. Oversee maintenance and repair of mobile plant and equipment
9. Manage preventative maintenance schedules and breakdown response
10. Lead and support a team of maintenance engineers
11. Monitor plant performance and minimise downtime
12. Maintain maintenance records and liaise with suppliers/contractors
13. Support day-to-day operational efficiency and safety standards
Equipment Covered:
14. Excavators / Diggers
15. Loading Shovels
16. Shredders & Crushers
17. Skip Wagons & Trailers
18. Hydraulic & Ancillary Plant Equipment
Criteria:
19. Experience in heavy plant or mobile equipment maintenance
20. Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
21. Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
22. Good organisational and communication skills
23. Ability to work both hands-on and administratively
