A forward-thinking secondary school in the Barking & Dagenham area is seeking a dedicated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
About the Role
As a Psychology Graduate TA, you will:
* Support students across KS3–KS4, with a focus on those with additional learning, emotional, or behavioural needs
* Work closely with the SENCo, pastoral team, and class teachers to implement support strategies
* Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions (e.g., emotional regulation, social skills, confidence building)
* Help create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes positive learning behaviours
* Gain valuable experience—ideal for careers in educational psychology, SEN, or teacher training

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds a degree in Psychology (or closely related field)

* Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Is empathetic, patient, and proactive
* Can commit to a full-time role during term-time
* Ideally has experience working with young people or SEN (not essential)
