We’re looking for a Caretaker to join our team! Contractually based out of our Basingstoke office, you’ll predominantly cover Aldershot, Farnham, Farnborough and the surrounding North Hampshire area. This is a full time, permanent role working 39 hours per week.

Here’s the facts about the role:
As a caretaker, you’ll deliver a consistent caretaking service to the communal areas of our housing blocks and properties, which includes; clearing bin areas of rubbish, clearing fly tipping, cleaning communal hallways, testing fire alarms and safety equipment. The role will require you to:
13. Follow a rota and pattern of work
14. Maintaining sites to a set frequency and standard
15. Working to a defined specification
16. Adhere to our 7 step first class repairs service
17. To complete fire safety compliance checks
You’ll complete electronic records for all of the tasks and activities you’re involved in such as; site visits, identifying and resolving minor repairs, and changing communal lamps.
Ideally, you’ll have previous experience of cleaning and caretaking/janitorial work with working knowledge of operating cleaning machinery and will be capable of carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs. You’ll have a category B driving licence. As you'll need to use a hand held device to log your work, you'll be comfortable using a basic technical device.

A full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) is needed so you can drive one of our vans when necessary. Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence checks and DBS check.
