Job Description: Receptionist at Medical Practice
Our public sector client based in Tidworth, Hampshire, is seeking a Receptionist for their Medical Practice. This is a temporary role with the potential for extension. The position is part-time, requiring 16 hours per week, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday to Thursday. The pay rate is £13.64 per hour.
Responsibilities include:
1. Handling administrative tasks such as answering phones, making appointments, managing shared inboxes, and responding to correspondence.
2. Scanning and processing appointment letters.
3. Checking in patients upon arrival and updating medical notes on SharePoint for all medical activities.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed to service delivery, and possess at least 12 months of reception and administration experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a structured environment are essential. Excellent communication skills and being a team player are also important.
This role requires a clear DBS check and three years of references.
