Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Leeds (with occasional travel to other UK sites)
Salary: Up to £28,500 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (flexible working hours available)
We are recruiting on behalf of Morphy Richards UK, a leading name in household appliances, for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team based in Leeds. Responsibilities
* Conduct hands-on product testing and inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
* Identify, investigate, and document quality issues, providing detailed reports and feedback to the wider product and engineering teams
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement
* Maintain accurate QA documentation, testing records, and compliance reports
* Assist in developing and improving QA processes and procedures
* Participate in site visits and audits (travel to other UK sites required occasionally)
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role, within household appliances, consumer electronics, or a similar manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of product testing, compliance, and technical reporting
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and provide practical solutions
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible and proactive approach to work, with a willingness to travel to other sites when required
Desirable
* Experience with industry standards and regulatory compliance relevant to household appliances (e.g., CE, UKCA)
* Technical background or qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
