Overview
This vacancy is for Days 33hrs per week, working over a seven day rota. As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will help residents across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes, delivering personalised care plans and supporting residents and their families to maintain security, dignity and independence. You will lead a team of Care Assistants and work with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide high-quality care, including ensuring accurate records and contributing to a range of social and recreational activities. You will also be involved in administering medication and supporting residents with daily needs while communicating with families and colleagues with kindness and professionalism.

Salary: £13.50 to £14.10 per hour
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of Care Assistants and model high standards of care.
* Plan and implement personalised care plans for residents.
* Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in delivering physical and mental stimulation through activities.
* Administer medications as required and maintain accurate records of care provided.
* Support residents with daily living activities, including mobility aids and end-of-life care as needed.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families and team members to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
* Ideally, Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Care and willingness to work towards Level 3 or equivalent.
* Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia.
* Strong record-keeping, time-management and interpersonal skills.
* Positive energy, kindness and the ability to build strong relationships with residents and colleagues.
