At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire aHigh Tech Operator based inMinster!
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Working Safely with a high attention to detail and quality
* Manual tasks such as loading raw materials into the production equipment
* Technical tasks such as operating a computer system and troubleshooting process breakdowns
* Verifying target weights and meet target through the application of statistical process control
* Performing quality checks and accuracy of materials/products
* Consistently communicating with all departments involved in production process (e.g., warehouse, distribution, processing, fruit room, scheduling, quality)
* Documenting inventory of consumed raw materials and supplies
* Cleaning and sanitation tasks (e.g., general housekeeping, disposal of waste material, scraps, etc.)
* Other duties as assigned
TheHigh Tech Operator base rate is now 27.52/hr, increasing to $28.97 after one year! Night shift employees receive an additional $1.00/hr shift premium. About you
The ideal candidate will have:
* High School degree or GED (Required)
* Open schedule ability. This means you are able to work nights, weekends and holidays when scheduled. Our employees work a 3-2-2 schedule
* Computer Skills
* Strong attention to detail
* High mechanical aptitude
The ability to perform physical demands of:
* A fast-paced environment
* 12-hour shifts
* Continuous walking or standing
* Repetitive minimal to moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs)
* Openness to learn and share with others - a Team Player
* Doer who takes ownership of our product excellence and their working area
* Empowered individual who proactively pursues improvements in Quality, Safety & Operations
