Job Overview
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in running a store, focusing on delivering great customer experiences that drive sales and profitability. Your leadership will guide a dedicated team to efficiently run store operations, prioritizing customer interactions and behind‑the‑scenes support. Cultivating an environment where every customer feels valued and every aspect of the store contributes to its success ultimately maximizes profits.
Key Responsibilities
* Offer customers a high level of service through styling advice, product knowledge and store experience.
* Analyze sales information and take responsibility for the store sales performance.
* Lead and motivate a team of managers, visual merchandisers and sales advisors to achieve excellent service standards.
* Lead recruitment and ensure induction and training of new starters is carried out well.
* Identify future talents and put together development plans to support their progression.
* Oversee store operations.
* Create a great place to work.
Qualifications & Skills
* Good understanding of KPIs/sales reports, budgeting turnover and workforce hours.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
* Understanding of store operation routines (delivery, stock, inventory, etc.).
* Fluent in English.
* Good knowledge of best practice in employee relations.
