Hours: Full-time, working on a flexible rota basis, 5 days per week across reasonable and fair working hours.
We are looking for:
– A friendly, collaborative approach with a passion for working as part of a team.
– Prior experience at CDP level, or an experienced Commis Chef ready to take a step up.
– Comfortable and capable handling busier service periods alongside a busy, hardworking team.
– An appreciation for tasty, fresh, high quality ingredients and a touch of creative flair.
– A good understanding of allergen and dietary needs.
– Enthusiastic about learning new techniques and growing within the culinary trade.
Day to day in your role as Chef de Partie, you will be:
– Supporting senior team members in keeping the kitchen running efficiently.
– Helping to prepare and present high quality dishes for lunch and evening guests.
– Sharing creative ideas to help shape and refresh our seasonal menus.
– Assisting with day-to-day stock management and working within kitchen budgets.
– Looking after the casual dining and bar menus to ensure excellent quality throughout.
– Guiding and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
– Preparing dishes safely and accurately to accommodate specific dietary requirements.
– Keeping a tidy, organised workstation in line with food safety and HACCP guidelines.
– Chatting through menu updates and collaborating closely with our front-of-house team.
