Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) – Multiple Schools Across Lancashire
Location: Lancashire (various SEN school settings)
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour
Contract Type: Flexible supply work (part-time and full-time opportunities available)

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are currently recruiting dedicated SEN TAs to work across a range of SEN schools throughout Lancashire.
About the Role:
You will work on a flexible basis across a variety of SEN schools, supporting pupils with a wide range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, learning disabilities, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Your role will involve both one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils in both classroom and one-to-one settings
Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies
Assisting teachers in delivering tailored lessons and activities
Promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Providing personal care when required (training can be provided)
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in school or similar settings)
A compassionate, patient and proactive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work across different schools and adapt to varying needs
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
