The Year 1 Teacher will design continuous provision, run small-group interventions and use formative assessment to inform next steps as the Year 1 Teacher. From planning tasks before January 2026 to classroom practice after January 2026, the Year 1 Teacher will play a central role in securing early progress. Day-to-day for the Year 1 Teacher Mornings: the Year 1 Teacher leads phonics and reading sessions that build fluency and vocabulary.
