Salary and Hours
Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 an hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours weekly, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12). We aim to schedule your hours within the specified availability windows, with 3 weeks' notice for shifts. Responsibilities
Pharmacy Assistants play a vital role in our pharmacies. Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the operation of our modern pharmacies.
* Accurately dispensing medication with strong customer focus.
* Talking to customers confidently and professionally, ensuring excellent service.
* Providing information on common ailments and products.
* Understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate products.
* Advising on pharmacy services and supporting the dispensing process.
* Assessing legal appropriateness of prescriptions.
* Handling clinical and legal queries from healthcare practitioners.
* Responding to customer queries about medicines and reporting complaints.
* Maintaining a clean, tidy dispensary and consultation rooms.
* Ensuring timely and accurate prescription administration.
* Participating in promotional activities and company initiatives.
* Following procedures to ensure safety, legality, and profitability.
* Completing training and staying updated on legal and professional developments.
Requirements
* Experience or qualifications in a pharmacy environment.
* A desire to develop into a pharmacy professional.
