The role
As a Resource Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our Estates Delivery function, ensuring the right people, subcontractors, and equipment are in place to support our Maintenance Delivery Teams. This is a dynamic and impactful role where your decisions directly influence the success of planned and reactive maintenance across our Clyde site.
You’ll be managing a large and diverse team, optimising labour deployment, and helping deliver over 45, maintenance tasks annually. It’s a fantastic opportunity to grow your leadership skills, work with cutting-edge resource planning tools, and contribute to a mission that matters.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
1. To work with Delivery teams to manage the labour demand and supply profile the most efficient use of resource
2. Coordinating the appointment of industrial, non-industrial employees to support delivery based on analysis of their skills and experience
3. Managing employees across industrial and non-industrial roles through day to day management of absence, performance, leave, learning and development records.
4. Collaborating with Planning and Delivery teams to optimise resource usage
5. Promoting a safety culture, continuous improvement and compliance with all company Health, Safety and Environmental legislation in line with ISO standards.
6. Using ERP systems to benchmark and implement effective resource strategies.
You'll be working full-time, 36 hours per week (Monday – Thursday). This role is a fixed term contract (Maternity Cover) until December .
Essential experience of the Resource Coordinator:
7. Proven experience in resource allocation and workload balancing
8. Strong organisational and communication skills with data-driven decision-making
9. Ability to lead and manage across multiple stakeholder groups
10. Understanding of contract scope, service provision, and KPIs
11. Expertise in ERP systems and resource planning methodologies.
Qualifications for the Resource Coordinator:
12. Relevant qualifications in business, operations, or engineering are desirable
13. Experience with resource planning tools and systems is essential.
