Job Description
3. Prepare and review financial statements for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and provide support on tax planning matters.
5. Manage bookkeeping and payroll processes for clients, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
6. Support senior accountants with audits, including gathering and analysing financial data.
7. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a point of contact for queries and advice.
8. Contribute to the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
9. Help identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance service delivery.
10. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and legislation relevant to the industry.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Semi-Senior Accountant should have:
11. Part qualified (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
12. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
13. Prior experience in an accounting and finance role within the professional services industry.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
