Year 4 Teacher

Clarus Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Bexleyheath to recruit an experienced and highly effective Year 4 Teacher to join the team from May 2026.

The Role
As Year 4 Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver consistently high-quality teaching across the Year 4 curriculum
2. Plan and implement engaging, well-structured lessons that promote strong progress
3. Maintain excellent behaviour for learning and a positive classroom culture
4. Use assessment effectively to inform planning and accelerate pupil outcomes
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure curriculum continuity and progression
6. Contribute to the wider life of the school
This is a full-time position with responsibility for delivering strong outcomes for all pupils in your class.
Who We Are Looking For
The successful candidate must be an experienced and qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
You will:
7. Have proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 4 or similar)
8. Be a strong, inclusive teacher with high expectations for all learners
9. Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
10. Show a clear commitment to inclusion, equality and pupil wellbeing
11. Be reflective, organised and proactive in your approach
12. Be passionate about supporting every child to achieve their full potential
