Join Freedom Leisure as our new Aquatic Impact Manager.
We’re on the hunt for an Aquatic Impact Manager – a brand-new role designed to supercharge our Learn to Swim programme across some of our key partnerships.
This isn’t just another management job. It’s about making a real splash in the community: growing participation, supporting and developing teachers, boosting customer experience and unlocking the hidden potential in our pools.
Your focus will be on some of our key local authority partnerships – initially Great Yarmouth, but with scope to expand to others as the role evolves.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Being proactive, on-site and driving local teams with strong leadership, accountability and energy.
2. Recruiting, training and motivating brilliant swimming teachers.
3. Driving growth in our swimming lessons by turning enquiries into happy swimmers.
4. Leading and delivering exciting local marketing and outreach campaigns to bring more learners through our doors.
5. Making sure our pools are buzzing with activity through smart use of pool space.

Hours: 37 hours a week (flexibility required for evenings/weekends).
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who:
6. Knows their way around a Learn to Swim or leisure programme.
7. Has leadership sparkle – able to inspire, influence and drive results.
8. Is organised, ambitious and loves exceeding targets.
9. Loves combining marketing, sales and people skills to make things happen.
10. Is happy to travel between our partnerships and diving into local communities.
Desirable skills & experience:
11. Proven track record in swimming programme management and growth, leisure management or related community sport development.
12. Strong marketing, sales and customer engagement skills.
13. Experience in workforce recruitment and training.
14. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to influence at all levels.
15. Highly organised, results-driven, with evidence of delivering against growth targets.
16. Willingness to travel across multiple partnerships.
17. Experience of working within a leisure operator or large-scale LTS programme.
18. Knowledge of Swim England frameworks and standards.
19. Understanding of community outreach and engagement strategies.
