We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Hull. Our clients are a dedicated processing facility in Kingston Upon Hull producing fresh pork. Our client is looking to expand the Butchery Day shift team and have numerous immediate opportunities for Knife-skilled operatives for full time work Monday to Friday. Our client is searching for successful candidates that are reliable, flexible, self-motivated and hardworking, to which could lead to a permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities include:
* Precise cutting of shoulder, leg and belly meat following onsite slaughter.
* Continuously checking the quality of products on the line.
* Complying with Food Safety and Quality procedures at all times.
* Following required work instructions and procedures.
* Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
* Possess previous butchery experience, preferably in Pork.
* Be able to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Have a positive attitude and work ethic.
* Be able to work as part of a team.
We can offer:
* £13.50 per hour (depending on block test result)
* Monday to Friday Hours
* Overtime pays at £14.00 per hour
* Immediate starts following completion of registration, bench test and induction.
