The post is for various locations and schools throughout the West Dunbartonshire area, suitable for teachers currently available to undertake supply work.

RC Approval is required for work in denominational schools.

Requirements
You will find the Head Teacher's report template attached to this advert. The relevant form (Teacher or Promoted Teacher) MUST be completed by your Head Teacher. Please upload your Head Teacher's Report in the 'COVER LETTER' section of the application. You are not required to write a cover letter. Applications submitted without the Head Teacher's report will be automatically rejected.
Responsibilities
This post is considered regulated work with children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020, and membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details can be found here. Preferred applicants will be required to join the relevant PVG scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check before a formal offer is made.
The employment for which you are applying is exempt from section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Applicants are not statutorily entitled to withhold information about convictions that are 'spent' under the Act. Failure to disclose such convictions could result in dismissal or disciplinary action and removal from the General Teaching Council register.
