Your mission Ensuring full compliance to people and product safety, while being a process & KPI driven individual, with a passion for continuous improvement and a Practical Problem solving approach, you will collaborate closely with teams from Systems, Testing, and Prototyping to ensure our aerial systems are assembled, integrated, and delivered to our customers on time and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Assembly and commissioning of VTOL-capable unmanned aircraft systems Electrical and mechanical integration of subsystems and components Execution of production and wiring tasks according to defined work instructions Conducting in-process inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs Assist in developing and implementation of Technical instruction and safe systems of work. Maintain accurate records of production data, defects, and rework activities On-time delivery and schedule adherence In-process testing and inspection, including fault analysis and repairs Responsibility for delivering all KPI targets across SQCDP. Support Continuous improvement of production processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. Kaizen participation to support team-based improvement initiatives. Qualifications Completed apprenticeship or technical qualification as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or equivalent Proven professional experience in production or assembly environments. Proven ability to read and understand Technical Drawings and instructions. Strong knowledge of electronics, wiring, and composite materials. Interest in unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and ideally an affinity for aviation technologies. High level of motivation and initiative to advance your own area of responsibility. A communicative, confident, and professional demeanour, enabling you to be recognised as an internal expert by your colleagues. A good understanding of Lean methodologies such as 5S, PDCA cycles, the 7 wastes. This position is 5 days a week on site in Swindon Security Clearance Requirements This position requires eligibility for Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) clearance.
