The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a passionate and creative Lecturer in Art and Design to join our Digital and Creative Innovation (DACI) team. This is a fixed-term opportunity, starting January until July, where you will help shape the next generation of artists and designers while contributing to a vibrant and supportive academic community.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Lecturer in Art and Design, you will play a key role in delivering inspiring and inclusive teaching to our students. Your main duties will involve:
3. Delivering and managing high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in art and design.
4. Assisting in curriculum design, development, and quality improvement to enhance the student experience.
5. Supporting student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, providing targeted academic and developmental guidance.
6. Engaging with creative scholarship, research, and professional practice to enrich teaching.
7. Using digital and face-to-face teaching methods, including the VLE and other platforms, to support student success.
