Job Description:
* We require 1 MASH Social Worker with extensive MASH background. The candidate should be experienced in court-based social work for our CLA team, including completing court assessments and work alongside CLA permanency plans. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience is required.
* Promote the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people, and their families in Knowsley.
* Carry out timely assessments on children, young people, and families in accordance with the Framework for Assessment and Working Together guidance.
* Ensure assessments and planning actively involve relevant agencies, the child/young person, and their family.
* Prepare and formulate care plans considering the views and wishes of children and young people.
* Maintain case records to a high standard and produce reports following service guidelines and using relevant IT systems.
* Identify, meet, and regularly review the diverse needs of children, young people, and families, updating plans as needed.
* Participate in developmental activities and promote service improvement and resource use.
* Fulfill statutory duties in accordance with legal requirements and service responsibilities, including statutory reviews.
* Pursue personal and professional development opportunities to meet GSCC and Directorate standards.
* Comply with the Council’s Standing Orders and Financial Regulations.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Using equipment as instructed and trained.
* Reporting health and safety issues to management.
* Implementing and adhering to Data Protection and Information Security policies.
* Protecting information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, or interference.
* Reporting security incidents.
